Week 1: Demo and Rough-In

Full demo of the existing bathroom down to the studs and subfloor, followed by any plumbing or electrical relocation. If you're not moving the toilet or shower drain, this week goes fast. If you are (a layout change), this is where delays most often show up — moving drain lines under a concrete slab or through joists takes longer than most homeowners expect.

Week 2: Inspections, Waterproofing, and Tile Prep

Rough plumbing and electrical inspections happen before anything gets closed up. Once approved, waterproofing membrane goes down in the shower/tub surround, followed by cement board and tile substrate prep.

Week 3: Tile Work
